Description:
ABOUT THE JOB MAINFRAME SECURITY ANALYST - CONTRACT
We are looking for an IBM Mainframe Security Analyst to join a team of Security professionals and enhance their security processes, practises and remediation efforts. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, with the possibility of some hybrid working arrangements.
Melbourne-based candidates are preferred and will need to be flexible to work around Australian, New Zealand and Indian overlapping time zones.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Tertiary qualified in Computer Science or similar highly desirable,
- Minimum of 5 years experience working within a Mainframe zOS and RACF environment,
- Knowledge of REXX and Automation skills as well as security principals, processes and hardening would be highly regarded,
- Ability to integrate quickly into a team environment a must,
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills a must to be able to deal with client requirements and demands
- Ability to guide and mentor more junior members of the team.
