Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the position of Manager - Mechanical Engineer – Facilities Management for Six Flags and Aquarabia. The Manager - Mechanical Engineer will lead the mechanical engineering function within the Facilities Management department, overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance of mechanical systems across Six Flags and Aquarabia. This includes HVAC systems, water features, ride-related infrastructure, and building services. The role ensures systems are reliable, safe, and compliant with operational and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance teams in the inspection, servicing, and repair of HVAC, pumps, compressors, and ride-related systems. Manage the technical handover and commissioning of mechanical systems from the development and delivery teams. Provide expert guidance on mechanical system design reviews, upgrades, and lifecycle planning. Ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of mechanical systems through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to resolve complex mechanical issues. Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational regulations. Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and performance dashboards. Support emergency response and critical system recovery efforts. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, CFM) is a plus. Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role. Proven experience in theme parks, hospitality, or large-scale entertainment venues is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, building automation, and water treatment systems. Proficient in engineering software and maintenance management systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
