Description:
CMHA Kelowna is hiring a full time Manager of People & Culture. This position is 37.5 hours a week with a typical work week of Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Previous experience in an HR Manager or Generalist role
- Experience working in a non-profit environment considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Demonstrated skill with mentoring employees and supporting performance management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using Payworks considered an asset
- Experience with creating policy and process documentation
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety best practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills for utilizing data and HR metrics
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
