QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS (ABOUT YOU):

  • Three (3+) years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP is preferred.
  • 5+ years of Warehouse/Transportation experience is required
  • Experience with Tableau, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Cognos is preferred.College Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • High level of technical / systems proficiency including warehouse management, inventory, data management systems, Enterprise RoadNet, Verizon Connect.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

The Manager, Supply Chain, Field Operations is responsible for supporting National Warehouse and Transportation operations processes including field initiatives rollouts, KPI achievement, and compliance for the Canadian Supply Chain function. This role will manage select projects focusing on ensuring practice consistency across the Supply Chain. In addition, this role will serve as a functional resource for key systems that are used in Canada, and will liaise with various Corporate teams in London and Houston to represent the interest of Sysco Canada, and manage the implementation of enterprise-level initiatives in Canada.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support VP, Field Operations in the implementation, consistency of practice, and compliance of critical national initiatives.
  • Provide support to regional operations teams for critical systems (Verizon Connect, STS, SWMS, Enterprise RoadNet)
  • Superuser support for GoCanvas application (Form Creation and Account Admin)
  • Working with Indirect sourcing team to optimizing savings on supplies and equipment (e.g. Stretch wrap, fuel, labels, supplies)
  • Prepare weekly reporting of performance data related to key initiatives.
  • Work with Business Services Teams to develop field level reporting for use in standardization.
  • Analyze results of operations and review and explain key drivers of significant variances to plan and forecasted results.
  • Work with US and International operations team on Network-wide projects (e.g. Uniforms, Drive Cams, Warehouse Equipment)
  • Track and work with Field on Delivery Service Centre Compliance.
  • Communicate the key actions necessary to achieve goals
  • Create reporting and insights for Field leadership team including develop metrics, KPIs, and transformation initiative reporting.
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
