Description:

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • LEAN certification.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • STEM degree or background.

This leadership position is critical to the success of our manufacturing operations team. As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor you will make an impact

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
  • Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
  • Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.
  • Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.
  • Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.
  • Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies.
  • Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments.
  • Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management.
  • Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates
  • Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions.
  • Lead and conducts meetings / reviews and prepares information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX. Minimum Program Qualifications:

  • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
