Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As the Digital Lead within our Marketing and Communications team, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing data-driven digital strategies to increase awareness, drive engagement, and support lead generation across all areas of the charity.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement, you’ll lead on digital campaigns, SEO, social media, PPC, and website optimisation. You’ll also work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure our digital marketing is aligned with brand standards and strategic goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, creative, and results-oriented digital marketer who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to make a difference in the local community.

  • Digital Strategy & Campaigns – Take ownership of developing and delivering a results-driven digital marketing strategy. Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel digital campaigns, using data insights to shape decisions, maximise reach, and drive engagement.
  • SEO & Website Optimisation - Implement SEO Strategies and manage content via CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Access Charity CMS)
  • Social Media Management & Content Creation - Lead social media strategy and increase engagement with content creation, keeping up to date with trends across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok)
  • Paid Advertising - Significant hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and data reporting, as well as a proven track record in running successful campaigns from start to finish
  • Compliance, best practice & Analytics Reporting - Ensure all digital activity meets GDPR, use analytics to shape content strategy
  • Collaboration and Project Management - Work collaboratively with the small, busy marketing team, as well as supporting with internal campaigns and ensuring brand consistency
  • Generalist Marketing - Produce written and visual content with tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva, support with events, fundraising promotions and internal communications.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on and strategically important role where you’ll work closely with service leads and the Head of Marketing to ensure Guild Care’s digital voice is consistent, impactful, and aligned across all channels. From leading on brand-aligned digital campaigns and website optimisation to boosting engagement through social media, email, and paid advertising—you’ll be at the forefront of our digital transformation.
You’ll play a vital role in enhancing how we connect with our audiences, from service users to supporters, using data-driven insights to maximise our digital reach and impact.
