Description:
Nasdaq is seeking an ambitious, proactive, and results-driven Marketing Associate to join the European Market Services (EMS) marketing team. Based in Stockholm, the role involves assisting the team in crafting and executing marketing campaigns and product launches through a wider range of marketing disciplines and marketing channels that improve the Nasdaq brand across Europe and generate revenue for the business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, a keen curiosity about financial services, and an analytical perspective required to measure marketing efficiency and make recommendations for continuous improvement. The Marketing Associate will ensure the smooth operation of the team and report to the Marketing Director for Equities & Equity Derivatives, based in Copenhagen. This person will also perform general marketing support for marketing campaigns, including collateral development, website updates, presentations, client communications, thought leadership initiatives, event support and more.
What you will be doing:
- Support the EMS marketing team with content creation, including social media posts, email newsletters, ordering tower shots, digital banners, videos, etc.
- Support the Marketing Director with campaigns specifically related to improving the Financial Literacy of retail investors across Nasdaq’s European markets.
- Input marketing and campaign performance data to KPI Tracker on Monday.com and support team in reporting campaign performance from numerous sources (Marketo, Sprinklr, GA, etc.).
- Manage design requests with the central design studio or outsourced agencies.
- Collate weekly social media requirements from the European Marketing Team and schedule posts with the central social media team.
- Conduct requested web development updates on Nasdaq.com using CMS and support the team to create new web pages.
- Maintain and improve our content management platform, Highspot with up-to-date marketing collateral for our Sales and Product teams to generate new business opportunities.
- Providing hands-on support at hosted events, video filming, etc. where needed.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis periodically and share insights with marketing teams and the broader business.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B marketing
- Experience in marketing automation – Marketo and Salesforce highly preferred
- Data-driven decision-making skills and ability to interpret marketing metrics with a curious and analytical mindset
- Curiosity about the financial markets and financial products
- Good copywriting skills in Swedish and English
- Experience working in a large, complex, matrix organisation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Collaborative spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders

What happens now?
This is a fulltime position in our Stockholm office. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week on-site and remotely (Hybrid model).
