Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Projects Manager to ensure strategically critical innovation projects are delivered on time and within budget to achieve business case targets, aligned with JDE Global processes and innovation best practice. This role will also be vital in guiding the NZ Business to commercialise on key gaps in the local market. This role reports to the Marketing Manager NZ.
In this role, you will:
- Lead regular innovation and project meetings to engage stakeholders and drive progress
- Be the go-to expert on innovation processes, including navigating global and local processes
- Drive New Zealand’s 36-month planning process including assisting project managers and teams manage timelines, highlight risks and opportunities, and make recommendations on sequencing.
- Facilitate project pre-alignments and manage communications with key global stakeholders for all innovation projects.
- Identify and design solutions for efficiencies in existing innovation processes
- Manage and provide expertise on hurdle rates, including sustainability rates.
- Market Research & Concept Screening including co-ordinate market research, screen initial concepts, and identify opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications
For this role as a Marketing Projects Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Minimum experience in Project Manager/Innovation Manager role responsible for managing NPD process and insight to innovation projects within the FMCG sector
- Experience in developing successful products in market that add value to customers and consumers
- Innovation process and performance reporting experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Commercially astute
- Experience navigating and influencing complex stakeholder networks
- Detail orientated
