PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field is in progress
- APICS certification.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
Responsibilities:
- Use ASCP/ERP System to drive materials planning and ordering of raw materials
- Maintain key item settings in systems to ensure accurate system functionality
- Handle push-in / push-out of material delivery dates in coordination with Purchasing Team to allow for the right balance of production plan stability and inventory investment
- Raise backorders or supplier performance issues to Purchasing Team
- Provide inputs for Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales, Inventory & Operations (SIOP) Meeting to facilitate discussions about Excess & Obsolete inventory and key shortages / excess
- Coordinate closely with Operations and Manufacturing Planning to optimize schedule adherence
- Train as a backup for other members of the team
- Engage in continuous improvement activities
- Assist in the allocation and shipment of materials around the network
