The role
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the way in which Royal Navy personnel are trained. As the Media Administrator you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for all media tasks assigned to you with regards to training transformation. An advocate for the creation of media that is not only active and engaging, but also inclusive and learner centric.
- Supporting the Media team in the production of interactive, innovative and engaging media content, adhering to the Courseware and Media production process.
- First point of contact for customers with regards to the ‘direct customer request service’ for training design media support within your location.
- Providing a personable and positive customer experience.
- Booking work requests into the media management system, ordering media consumables and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records and track media status for all ongoing work requests, including design review change logs and production schedules.
- Support in compiling information and reports where required and the active communication of work in flow.
- Provide administrative support for the Quality Management System, and ensure that all media-related items, including 1st and 2nd Party Audits, are properly identified and actioned.
- Provide administrative support for media meetings, including organising media design review meetings, setting the agenda, taking minutes, recording change log actions, and distributing the minutes to required stakeholders.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally to positively contribute towards training transformation.
- Responsible for the continuous professional development of yourself.
- Support the media developers in the output of media content and large format graphics.
- Adhering to the Quality Assurance procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with MoD & Raytheon (Team Fisher) policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and customers.
- Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.
- Any other duties required to complete the Integrated Training Design Service.
- Occasional travel to other customer sites may be required.
Essential:
The Media Administrator will be able to:
- Demonstrate experience from a previous administrative customer service role.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality, be able to plan, multitask, deliver on time and work independently.
- Work well in a team and on own initiative.
- Adopt a flexible approach to the role, adapt to evolving priorities.
- Demonstrate previous experience in collating data and maintaining accurate records.
- Demonstrate excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to be able to take effective meeting minutes.
- Demonstrate a passion to learn, collaborate, and demonstrate best practices within the business and customers.
