As an MDM Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting mobile devices across corporate and education environments. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and responding to incidents and problem tickets via ITSM, ensuring compliance of mobile devices, and serving as the first line of mobile support. You’ll also have opportunities to work on exciting projects such as end-user device patching, application deployments, licensing, and tech refreshes. This role involves working on incidents and work orders across multiple clients as part of a shared service MDM team

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent.
  • MDM (Mobile Device Management) certifications or training, particularly in Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, or similar tools, would be highly beneficial.
  • ITIL Foundation certification would be advantageous, especially for those involved in incident management and IT service management
Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage tickets and queues in ITSM platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to incident and problem tickets.
  • Ensure mobile device compliance in corporate and educational settings.
  • Collaborate with the team on projects, including patching, application deployments, and tech refreshes.
  • Work across various secure contracts, requiring SC clearance (with SC Enhanced eligibility).
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support in a hybrid working environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM tools (essential).
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Proven technical expertise in mobile and desktop environments.
  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems, networking products, and common office software.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware break/fix, including mobile devices, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Ability to assess, interpret, and apply technical skills to resolve site-based issues.
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to perform workshop repairs on supported products.
