Description:

EDUCATION

  • Higher Diploma level qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S training

Responsibilities:

KEY TASKS

  • Able to manage cost related/delivery of maintenance activities (specialist and self-perform)
  • Technical awareness of computer room/call centre/trader operations and experience of power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling etc
  • Ensure all client services, computer rooms, data networks, manufacturing and revenue earning services meet client requirements or appropriate SLAs
  • Operate to an Asset management plan
  • Operate dilapidation and update plans relating to critical environments
  • Operate change control process covering business critical areas
  • Meet clients SLAs to ensure compliance and performance, covering business continuity
  • Provide technical management reports as required
  • Provide emergency response standby, call out
  • Monitor utilities management and environmental programmes
  • Support critical environment related technical audits in country/acct sites
  • Support cost-effective procurement of engineering maintenance services
  • Operate within annual engineering budgets for the maintenance and repair of the services
  • Operate to forward maintenance plan that tracks asset condition and projected maintenance costs on a 5 year rolling basis
  • Responsibility for ensuring all critical related engineering maintenance documentation/records are kept in clearly identified and retrievable systems
  • Advise the Facilities Management Team of changes in critical environment requirements
  • Lead and develop a One Team approach with all CBRE staff and supply partners as part of Third Party Contractor Management
  • Liaise with the Technical Manager for UK & Ireland to support contractor management networking with other accounts to provide Best Practice and assist with the Global Continuous Improvements Programme
  • Plan Statutory Compliance Maintenance and Testing and report, as required, the Statutory Compliance Audit Report to the Technical Services Manager
  • Ensure all PPM’s and Critical Facility PPM’s are carried out to schedule
  • Monitor and analyse environmental conditions, review the loading and working conditions of critical equipment regularly
  • Ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests ensuring closing and completion in line with SLA’s
  • Fully understand the operational protocols associated with alarm conditions and auxiliary back-up system capabilities
  • Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA
  • Establish emergency response escalation programs working with the client Security to ensure the appropriate Cisco and landlord representatives are notified of emergency conditions in a timely manner
  • Ensure that financial processes are adhered to at all times
  • Liaise with the CBRE EHS specialist to ensure audit compliance at all times
