WORK ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel: Limited travel; mostly in Ontario territory with some nationwide travels
  • Environment: This is a field sales position; the environment is usually on the road visiting customers and prospects. Home office is the standard office environment.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires frequent physical demands in terms of maintaining a continuous and rigorous pace and extensive travel.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

The National Account Manager will be responsible for all sales activities in the Ontario region. The National Account Manager will be primarily responsible for all sales activities in support of named Regional & National Channel Partner(s). The National Account Manager will build relations, manage and engage with resellers and end-users, and drive channel, corporate, and education sales. The National Account Manager will independently find, target, quantify, sell, and support the entire range of ViewSonic’s products, taking ownership of the region, with a key focus in creating awareness of presentation solutions. The preferred candidate will reside in the Toronto area, supported by a well-established national sales team.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with partners to increase the success of presentation solutions in the territory
  • Present product solutions and conduct demos
  • Become a ViewSonic solutions expert, including hardware, software and professional development
  • Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans for the assigned territory in collaboration with the Channel Marketing team for applicable VARs
  • Maintain and submit pipeline reports, providing rolling forecasts where appropriate
  • Consistently provide competitive updates on products, promotions, pricing and services to market research and sales management
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows and other marketing activities
  • Engage with distributor field representatives to better understand the reseller community through revenue availability and plan a strategy accordingly
  • Lead and engage in end user account calls with VARs when applicable to enhance the promotion of ViewSonic in the territory
  • Conduct sales calls, targeting corporate and enterprise end-user accounts and any prospective customers within the assigned region to drive revenue and build relationships
  • Conduct training events with end-users to assure knowledge of ViewSonic products, programs, and services
  • Identify top end-user accounts in the region, enabling ViewSonic to become the standardized technology brand
  • Responsible for maintaining and increasing volume levels with existing assigned accounts, and promoting growth in the assigned territory
  • Selective targeting of strategic customers in assigned areas; instituting fresh programs and improving communication between ViewSonic and the target companies
  • Build and maintain a database of contacts and associated profiles including; main contacts, major projects, current standards, overall opportunity in units, potential marketing needs and associated costs through SFDC
  • Support the General Manager and upper management by assisting in reviewing and/or modifying existing strategies and tactics
