An HR Manager role for a company within a blue-collar industry, based in Olympic Park and paying up to $155k.
Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
In this national and standalone role as HR Manager, you will be in charge of everything related to people matters, including:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and vision
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and retention
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR matters, such as employment contracts, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations
- Building and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters engagement, diversity, and inclusion
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, vendors, and regulators

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR manager or senior HR generalist in a medium size company or a similar environment
- A solid knowledge of HR best practices, trends, and legislation
- A strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- A proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems
- A willingness to travel occasionally to visit our regional office
