Responsibilities:
- Work directly with and support the Managers on their recruitment, performance, training and development requirements
- Develop and implement people-related initiatives, projects and tasks in support of the business and people strategy
- Review all policies and procedures and implement such practices in line with current legislation and best practice
- Manage esclaated complaints / grievances / ER/IR issues and conduct investigations where necessary
- Respond to Fair Work and related claims
- Continually monitor changes to the industrial relations policies and legislation
- Manage people related indicators including probation, performance reviews, onboarding / offboarding
- Drive the inductions ensuring all new starters receive a thorough induction on their first day/week
- Assist with the internal hiring process for all vacancies
- Manage the HRIS
- HR administrative duties as required
- Travel to other states as required
