Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with and support the Managers on their recruitment, performance, training and development requirements
  • Develop and implement people-related initiatives, projects and tasks in support of the business and people strategy
  • Review all policies and procedures and implement such practices in line with current legislation and best practice
  • Manage esclaated complaints / grievances / ER/IR issues and conduct investigations where necessary
  • Respond to Fair Work and related claims
  • Continually monitor changes to the industrial relations policies and legislation
  • Manage people related indicators including probation, performance reviews, onboarding / offboarding
  • Drive the inductions ensuring all new starters receive a thorough induction on their first day/week
  • Assist with the internal hiring process for all vacancies
  • Manage the HRIS
  • HR administrative duties as required
  • Travel to other states as required
