We are seeking a hands-on IT Network Engineer to join and lead our dynamic team. Based out of our London Gateway Port, reporting into our Network Manager, you will play a pivotal role in conducting internal analyses of network performance and traffic analysis, as well as working on projects to improve the network performance across DP World.
Our ideal candidate will have solid experience as a Network Engineer within a corporate and industrial space, working on local/onsite networks. We are looking for someone with excellent IT expertise, Cisco and Nexus knowledge.
Location : Stanford le Hope, Essex
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Closing Date: 2nd December 2024

Responsibilities:

  • The network support engineer will monitor the network as defined by the IT procedures and will resolve support issues;
  • Specifically the network engineer will:
  • Maintain and develop the network hardware and software and provide on-site assistance and troubleshooting;
  • Implement network changes into the various environments following company procedures, i.e. change control and security policies.
  • Monitor and maintain the clustered high availability solutions across two sites;
  • Monitor the Data Centers and Virtual Environments;
  • Monitor the site wide network infrastructure, this will include all LAN, WAN and Wireless LAN connections;
  • Monitor communication systems;
  • Be familiar with DR procedures;Supply service desk support facilities;
