QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field; must be a registered nurse with a valid license.
  • Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health assessment techniques, medical interventions, and care planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and health counseling skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate health records and documentation.
  • Knowledge of current health regulations, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Bilingual (Fluent in English and Arabic)
Responsibilities
  • Develop care plans for employees and students based on comprehensive health assessments, intervention strategies, and evaluation of health status.
  • Deliver health education and promote wellness initiatives to encourage a healthy lifestyle across the university community.
  • Provide health-related instruction to employees and students through both individual consultations and group sessions.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, gather medical histories, and create customized health plans for individuals with specific medical requirements.
  • Address and manage minor health concerns and first aid requirements on a daily basis.
  • Dispense over-the-counter medications after proper assessment for temporary relief from minor ailments.
  • Supervise medication administration and healthcare procedures while formulating appropriate healthcare plans.
  • Maintain and analyze cumulative health data to meet the specific health needs of employees and students.
  • Plan and implement health management protocols tailored to support students with chronic conditions.
  • Develop response procedures and provide crisis intervention for health hazards, communicable diseases, acute illnesses, injuries, and emotional disturbances.
  • Recommend and maintain a university environment that supports safety, learning, and wellness.
  • Monitor and manage infection control measures throughout the university premises.
  • Collaborate actively with the health and safety officer on campus safety plans addressing emergencies, violence, and bullying.
  • Attend required meetings and execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
