Roy Hill’s Perth-based integrated Corporate Headquarters and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) provides end to end integration of our operations, marketing and corporate services functions.
Our Payroll team is seeking an Officer Payroll. The role will be responsible for providing accurate and timely processing of the Roy Hill payroll; whilst ensuring the adherence to company employment strategy, policy and all award & statutory requirements.

Accountabilities include but not limited to:

  • Process employee movements in SAP in accordance with relevant approved documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist the Payroll Supervisor with the end to end processing of the bi-monthly payroll
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, test and implement system changes/updates by understanding the business requirements, system and outcomes
  • Maintenance of payroll policies and procedures as required
  • Answer payroll queries within the approved KPI timeframe


As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience in a payroll position. In addition, you will possess:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous exposure to complex employment structures within the mining industry
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and ATO requirements
  • Strong experience with excel and SAP
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll procedures, processes and policies
  • Strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service
