Algert Global manages global equity funds and accounts for large institutional investors using highly systematic fundamental strategies. QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent attention to detail and highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong interest in investment management and public equity markets
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a technical field such as Math/Engineering with coursework in Economics or Accounting
- Strong MS Excel skills, experience with databases is a plus
- Authorization to work in the US
Range stated is for base salary only. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge and skills. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, flexible time off and a 401(k) plan.

This is a unique opportunity to work in small firm with a team of senior investment professionals and gain experience in a variety of tasks. You will interact daily with your operations and accounting colleagues, and regularly with the portfolio management and trading teams. Responsibilities:
- Within 2 months -
- Daily post trade processing, reporting and affirmations
- Resolve trade settlement issues in a timely manner
- Daily account reconciliation/maintenance to custodial relationships (cash, positions and transactions)
- Within 4 months -
- Monthly account reconciliation/reporting
- Corporate action maintenance and election notification (mergers, stock splits, etc.)
- Ongoing -
- Ad hoc treasury and and operational projects
- Coordinate with the portfolio management, trading and accounting teams to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy
