THE VACANCY

Fitzwilliam College is looking to recruit an Outreach Coordinator to join our Admissions Team. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate to assist in managing current College student recruitment and widening participation events, initiatives and resources and to help develop outreach strategies. We are looking for someone to create and maintain a clear and engaging public profile for outreach and widening participation at Fitzwilliam, and ensure effective engagement with prospective applicants, paying particular attention to those from underrepresented groups.
The successful applicant will be well-organised, proactive, and highly motivated, with excellent verbal and written skills. A good understanding of secondary education is essential. You will also have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and social media.
The Outreach Coordinator works with the Admissions Tutors, Head of Admissions and Student Services, Admissions Officer and the Schools Liaison Officer (SLO), to manage current College student recruitment and widening participation events, initiatives and resources and to help develop outreach strategies. They create and maintain a clear and engaging public profile for outreach and widening participation at Fitzwilliam, and ensure effective engagement with prospective applicants, paying particular attention to those from underrepresented groups.
