Description:
Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain a relationship through the Locality Delivery Partnership with key stakeholders in the locality in respect of the development of projects.
- To work with stakeholders in the locality to ensure that the development of the FFF Locality Small Grants programme is co-ordinated with the FFF Locality Partnership Fund. There is a need to co-ordinate communication and engagement activity to avoid duplication of activity; to signpost assets to the most appropriate fund and to connect organisations and assets.
- To work with community assets to prepare bids for consideration by the FFF grants panel – to be submitted via portal managed by the Grant Maker. NNS lead provider sponsorship will be required for all bids submitted.
- To work with FFF leads, contributing to the development and delivery of communications and engagement activity and plans, which promotes the priorities, activities, services, events being funded through the grants programme, to local citizens, stakeholders, and communities.
- To co-ordinate activity within the locality to ensure that the grant allocation for the locality is fully utilised and that the split of funding between constituencies is proportionate.
- To work with the Grant Maker to ensure the correct value of grants are awarded in each locality
- To provide regular reports to the Locality Delivery Partnership, to ensure awareness of progress and the status of the locality small grants programme.
- To share updates with Fairer Futures Fund Contract Manager as part of quarterly meeting.
- To contribute to Birmingham and Solihull FFF collaboration and learning forums to share experience and good practice across all parts of the FFF programme.
- Work with the Grant Maker to identify gaps in the community offer through monitoring of applications and grants awarded against the priorities for the fund.
- To work with FFF leads to periodically review the delivery arrangements for the programme with the intention of improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- To develop and deliver communications and engagement plans and activity for citizens, community networks, groups and organisations to maintain their engagement and knowledge of the NNS
- To Identify and map individuals, groups and organisations which can be considered as “community assets” across the Constituency’s neighbourhoods
- To work with and support Constituency communities, groups and organisations to develop their capacity
- To work under the direction of the Service Manager NNS Team to meet contractual targets & key performance indicators
- To work within DRC’s adopted policies and procedures including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality
- To attend regular supervision and participate in annual appraisals
- To attend training as appropriate
