Beechfield Care Group are currently looking to recruit Receptionist to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Mount Hybla Private Nursing Home White’s Rd, Castleknock, Dublin D15 Y977

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The receptionist promotes a positive image of the Nursing Home to residents and their families and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address problems or special requests. The role requires a significant level of interaction with residents and their families.
As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our home. The Receptionist will offer administrative support across the organization, as well as welcoming and greeting people who visit the home. The Receptionist will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
The working days will alternate every week as: one week works Monday and Tuesday; the following week works Thursday and Friday in a total of 17 hours per week.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the Nursing Home.
- Ensure all visitors have appropriate PPE and follow infection control guidelines (i.e., take their temperature and provide them with alcohol hand gel on arrival)
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
- Assist with updating the policies and procedures of the nursing home.
- Any other administrative duties as requested.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
O Must have administrative/ secretarial experience.
O Must be highly organised.
O Must have strong MS Office skills.
O Must have strong people skills.
O Must be able to multi-task in a challenging environment.
O Must have fluent English and excellent communication skills.
