JOB DESCRIPTION:

Package Centre Associates are part-time position and are responsible for updating package information, validating deliveries using UPS systems, scanning premium service packages, assisting dispatch and updating the package inventory systems.

Package Centre Associates may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. These positions will perform other tasks as assigned - including working with the Customer Counter.

• Location: 425 Madsen Road, Nanaimo BC
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:00PM to 8:00PM

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 70-lb

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Takes ownership of customer’s shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices and trains others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
