JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated, friendly worker to cover ‘rota days off’ for our busy warehouse retail team. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. Must have fluent English and good numeracy/literacy skills for the requirements of the role. Also the ability to lift and move heavy items on stairs.
Two 8hour shifts 8.30am to 5pm per week over Monday-Saturday. Monthly rotas issued in advance. There may be the option for extra shifts to cover staff absences/holiday periods.

JOB SUMMARY

• Sort through donated items for shop stock or recycling; price stock according to pricing guidelines; welcome and serve customers attending to their requests; operate an EPOS system and fulfil rota duties in end-of-day transactions
• Ensure all Health&Safety and quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the warehouses
• Assist staff and customers moving heavy items including furniture, donation bags and assist in the loading/unloading of lorries as requested
