The Patient Access Manager oversees a wide range of operations and activities related to patient registration, including insurance verification, scheduling, pre-registration, prior authorization verification, and point of service collections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing, supervising, and mentoring staff in a medical environment. Previous hospital admitting management experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with EHR is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively work with patients, physicians, and department staff.
  • Education: Bachelors Degree preferred, or relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree. A minimum of 2 years in a full-time management role is required.
