Description:

Patient Services Assistant

  • A new opportunity has become available at ERH for a Patient Services Assistant to join the Corporate Services Division
  • Permanent part time (64 hours per fortnight)

Applications are sought from suitably qualified staff with previous experience supporting patients, clients and other clinical staff in a hospital/health setting to work in the Corporate Services department at Echuca Regional Health.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning;
  • Basic laundry work and the sorting and packing of linen;
  • General Orderly/Porterage/Courier tasks;
  • Respond to all calls in a timely manner;
  • Participate in departmental and organisational meetings as required;
  • Follow task list and work schedule allocated to your area;
  • Be aware of and respect patient / visitor privacy;
  • Complete and maintan all relevant documentation as required and determined by the area of work;
  • Other duties as directed;
  • Participate in all training requirements as directed
