Description:

We are in search of a Payroll Clerk to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Richmond Hill, Georgia. In this role, you will be required to manage payroll-related tasks, handle accounting software systems, and ensure accurate processing and auditing of payroll data. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing of payroll transactions using accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
  • Ensure about time management for accurate payroll processing.
  • Handle accounting functions related to payroll and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) related to payroll and employee benefits.
  • Conduct regular auditing of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle queries and concerns related to payroll from employees and management.
  • Oversee the administration of benefit functions related to payroll.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning payroll.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll Clerk role or similar
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time software
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Knowledge of Benefit Functions
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
