Grade / Salary: Grade 16 / £58,692 - £60,819
Hours of work: 36 per week / Monday – Friday
Contract type: Permanent

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting time to join the Programmes & Performance Service as we strive to get effective use of data at the heart of the design and delivery of excellent services. We are looking for a performance & intelligence specialist, with a background in Adult Social Care, to build on what has been achieved so far.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:
-
- Has a proven track record of building and developing stakeholder relationships to enable them to be an effective business partner to the ASCH directorate.
-
- Can demonstrate evidence of excellent leadership and people management skills.
-
- Will lead on identifying and providing high quality performance and intelligence, highlighting areas of progress and under performance to senior managers and the ASCH directorate management team.
-
- Will champion data quality, allowing evidence based decision making and to identify areas of weakness to allow performance and business improvement.
-
- Will lead on ensuring that the council meets its requirements to external regulators by managing the timely completion and submission of the relevant statutory returns.

- Can work proactively to promote quality assurance across processes to challenge and assess effectiveness against organisational strategies and plans.

- Will support, develop and co-ordinate the response to the local government inspection, assessment and compliance frameworks.

- Will ensure that the most appropriate actions are taken to resolve problems as they occur.

- Is a team player, happy to share knowledge and coach junior team members.
