REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
  • Must hold current certification for drug administration by injection and a valid First Aid certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication skills in English are required.
  • Proficiency in Persian is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to be accurate, organized, reliable, and patient-focused.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals and check prescriptions for proper dosage and accuracy.
  • Provide comprehensive counseling to patients on medication indications, contraindications, adverse effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Advise patients on the selection and proper use of non-prescription medication.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Supervise a team of 1-2 pharmacy staff members.
