Description:

  • Dubbo NSW location
  • Maximum Term Part time - 16 hours per week
  • 12 month Maternity Relief
    Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service (Lourdes) is a third schedule, not-for-profit teaching hospital funded by NSW Ministry of Health and Managed by Catholic Healthcare. Lourdes has a long history of providing excellent care to the Dubbo and greater region.
    The successful applicant will be working as part of a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team within the rehabilitation unit at Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service. You will be providing physiotherapy rehabilitation and hydrotherapy to adult inpatient, outpatient and community services patients. This is a perfect opportunity for a new graduate.

To be successful for the role, you will have:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Knowledge of common orthopaedic, neurological, cardio-pulmonary, surgical and age-related conditions
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with multidisciplinary team working
  • Effective time management skills to ensure patient intervention, reports and outcomes are achieved in a timely manner
  • Commitment to continuing education and application of this knowledge
  • Understanding of the need for evidence-informed, client centred care
  • Current NSW Health Vaccination Status - Category A
  • Current NSW Driver’s license
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in computer applications
  • Understanding of quality activities, WHS and infection control policies
  • Experience in hydrotherapy
