Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plant Store Room & Parts Supervisor to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our tool crib, managing inventory, coordinating equipment parts distribution, and leading a team to ensure efficient and organized inventory management and operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing processes to support our manufacturing operations. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the tool crib team, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards Manage total inventory, including receiving, cataloging, storage, and distribution of tools, parts, safety supplies, manufacturing consumables and other related indirect inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized tracking systems and conduct regular audits to ensure accountability Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance procedures within the tool crib facility Train and mentor team members on proper tool handling, inventory procedures, and safety requirements Monitor parts usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste Prepare reports on inventory status, parts and tool utilization, and operational metrics for management review Collaborate with production and maintenance departments to address parts and tool-related needs and resolve issues promptly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and regulations Qualifications 3+ years of related professional experience is required Proven supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or tool management environment Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, equipment, and their proper maintenance and storage Proficiency with inventory management systems and computer software Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail Experience with purchase requisition, approvals and bill of goods receipts Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in industrial settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate team members Ability to analyze data and identify process improvement opportunities Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and moving tools and equipment **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with ERP or advanced inventory management software Purchasing bill of goods and invoice validations Previous experience working in a parts or manufacturing storeroom operation Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies Forklift or material handling equipment certification Quality control or auditing experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans *Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
