Postdoc Position in Antibody Engineering for Pediatric Cancers

at  Prinses Mxima Centrum

We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and innovative postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in antibody engineering and functional testing to join the Janda group at the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology.
Our group has a strong interest in the structure-function relationship of ligand-receptor interactions and applying these principles to improve therapies for pediatric cancers. This project aims to establish innovative approaches to explore the structure-function relationship of bispecific T cell engagers (BiTEs) for engineering more effective therapies for pediatric solid tumors.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• A PhD in protein engineering, immune-oncology, cancer biology, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven expertise in antibody engineering and functional antibody testing using in vitro and in vivo assays is essential.
• Experience with library-based antibody engineering techniques (e.g., yeast and phage display) is advantageous.
• A strong track record of scientific productivity, demonstrated by publications in high-impact journals.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to innovate and thrive in a fast-paced research environment.
• Ability to independently lead and manage projects while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills are required.
