The Barry Plant Group is a leading Real Estate franchise group of over 60 offices across Victoria. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Passion for Real Estate: Real estate is an exciting and ever changing landscape. While real estate experience isn’t required, we are looking for someone that has a passion for finding and sharing those unique stories for every occasion, both from a corporate, industry, and client perspective.
• Writing Wizardry: Words are your playground. You can turn a press release into a page-turner and a newsletter into a must-read.
• Adaptability: You are comfortable writing to different audiences, from corporate and industry contacts, to clients and colleagues, adapting tone of voice where required.
• Initiative: Real estate is a fast paced environment. Sometimes we forget to stop and tell our story. You have the hunger to find those stories while building strong relationships with all stakeholders to help drive exposure.
• Team Player: You are someone that has a warm and enthusiastic attitude and thrives in a supportive and collaborative team environment. You will be able to work both autonomously on projects, and as a team player in larger company initiatives.
• Full time or part time: While we are ideally looking for a full-time team member, a part-time position would be considered for someone with the right expertise.

This role is based in Doncaster East, with undercover secure parking available. Occasional attendance at offsite events, during work hours or after hours, may be required. Due to the nature of the tasks, the role is an in-office role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Craft Compelling Press Releases: You’ll be the voice behind our press releases, weaving stories that showcase our latest achievements, team stories, and interesting real estate news.
• Content Creation: From insightful blog posts to engaging articles, you’ll help us spread the word both internally and externally.
• Internal Communication: Keeping our franchise network in the loop is key. You’ll curate newsletters that inform and inspire.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships with key media contacts across Australia as well as colleagues and directors within our Real Estate network.
• Marketing and Events team support: You’ll be a key team member of our Marketing and Events team, lending a hand when required through your creative wordsmith abilities, including copywriting, proofreading, ideas development, and more.
