POSITION OVERVIEW:

SGL is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. We’re looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced professional who will play a key role in developing competitive pricing strategies and fostering strong relationships with station managers. This position will collaborate closely with the Air Freight team to support and manage high-volume opportunity requests across the North America region. Successful candidate will be based in Boston, MA and will be supporting Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland and Miami offices.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pricing, logistics, or freight forwarding operations or sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass TSA eligibility screening
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $80,000 to $85,000 Annually
  Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)

• Develop competitive, accurate price proposals for the SGL network using pricing models, market intelligence, and additional input from relevant stakeholders
• Implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
• Stay up-to-date and analyze market trends and customer requirements to set competitive rates.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as needed
• Collaborate with product and operational teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.
• Prepare and present pricing reports and analysis to the air freight product team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders in operation and management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
• Work hand in hand with the North American operations team to ensure smooth handover from pricing to operations.
