ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a Principal Consultant | AI Solution Lead to drive innovation and deliver transformative AI solutions across Financial Services. This role is ideal for a seasoned AI professional with deep expertise in machine learning, GenAI technologies, and enterprise-level solution design. You will lead the development of AI applications such as knowledge assist, AI coaching, and customer-facing chatbots. Collaborating with cross-functional client teams and regional counterparts, you will shape scalable, impactful solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a subject matter expert to conceptualize and deliver tailored AI solutions for customer engagement and support within banking contact centers Collaborate with a centralized AI development team to prototype and iterate minimum viable products Oversee the assessment and selection of AI technology partners, cultivating strategic relationships with clients across the region Mentor junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely and agile delivery of AI initiatives Explore and test emerging AI models and open-source frameworks to drive innovation Engage with academic and industry networks to stay informed on the latest advancements and contribute thought leadership REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions Management consulting experience is highly beneficial. Strong grasp of generative AI concepts and familiarity with current trends in the field Demonstrated success in architecting scalable AI systems for complex enterprise environments Proficient in programming and experienced in leading agile development teams Strategic mindset with end-to-end ownership of AI product lifecycle Background in frontend or backend development is advantageous Active participation in AI-related conferences, forums, or research communities is a plus Strategic thinker with strong execution and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to influence client leadership and manage expectations effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
