Summary Statement
You will be responsible for leading NMG Consulting’s insights propositions in Australia and New Zealand, including project design and client delivery, and enhancing the profile and value of our programmes. The objective is to deliver high-quality, timely and impactful insights to our insurer and wealth management clients and explore innovations across our propositions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading delivery of proprietary insights programmes in the life insurance industry and collaborating with colleagues to deliver wealth management industries
• Providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to a team of direct reports to ensure their ongoing progression and development
• Collaborating with colleagues across NMG’s international practice to ensure innovations and best practice are shared globally, as well as taking ownership of key global initiatives
• Project managing and presenting to clients on NMG’s insights studies
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients based in Australia and New Zealand and undertaking business development in conjunction with other Partners and Principal Consultants to ensure ongoing business growth
• Actively contributing to the shaping of NMG Consulting’s long-term strategy for its insights portfolio

Competencies, Qualifications & Experience

• In-depth knowledge earned with 5+ years of experience within the Australian retail financial services sectors, specifically within either life insurance, asset management or reinsurance, and ideally over 3 years’ experience in a consulting or an analytical environment; Tertiary qualification with excellent academics
• Proven analytical skills, the ability to draw insight from complex data sets, excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards; A commercial understanding and drive to innovate
• An ability to develop relationships with clients and influence the thinking of key decision makers, making strategic contributions and lead presentations; Ability to work effectively with a global team of consultants
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with a senior audience
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities, empowering, mentoring and developing colleagues that you work with
