Using your experience of managing the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging points, you will support an ambitious team in delivering these across South Gloucestershire.
Leading on the day-to-day project management of the programme, you will support the growth and delivery of improvements for residents, business and transformational change to transport in the community.

What you will be doing:

  • Daily, you will project manage the installation of EV charging point infrastructure and oversee the day-day operations of existing assets.
  • Working closely with project partners and organisations, you will achieve an ambitious work programme, collaborating with key stakeholders, the West of England Combined Authority and elected members to agree priorities.
  • Supporting the development of policies and strategies relating to the implementation of EV charging infrastructure across the region, you will act as South Gloucestershire Council’s representative on the Revive Network Board.
  • Managing multi-disciplinary project teams, staff and contractors, you will oversee public consultation and engagement in liaison with professionals and within a robust governance structure.
  • It will be your responsibility to manage the project budget and programme, ensuring the effective resolution of any risks and that stakeholders are briefed in a timely manner regarding project progress.
  • You will establish and maintain effective customer relationships by providing expert and prompt advice to customers and partners on major issues. It will be key for you to ensure the council is aware of implications, risks and benefits and that innovative solutions to complex technical issues have been developed.
