Private Patient Co-ordinator
Location: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
The site on which Woodthorpe Hospital now stands has provided healthcare to the people of Nottingham since 1877 and is conveniently located towards the north of Nottingham city centre, with excellent on-site parking facilities and access to public transport nearby.
Today, we are a modern well-equipped hospital with 41 private bedrooms (all en-suite) and two operating theatres. We are constantly developing our services and are proud of our comprehensive range of specialist departments and the high standard of care that they allow us to offer all of our guests.
The role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for an experienced Private Patient Co-ordinator to join our team at Woodthorpe Hospital based in Nottingham.
As an Private Patient Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the private patient pathway within the hospital to ensure that all private patients receive the service they expect.
You are required to deliver a high standard of support to customers, be a motivating and approachable point of contact for the employees involved in the private patient journey to ensure operational excellence. Superb communication skills at all levels and computer and keyboard competencies are essential.
You will ideally have proven experience of working in an administration setting, and have the ability to organise and prioritise yours and other’s workload. Healthcare experience will be a real advantage.

  • Ability to use and analyse data
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be a key part of the success of this role.

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include Excel and Word
  • Experience working in a private healthcare setting is preferred
