REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in process improvement or other lean manufacturing program
  • Experience leading multiple cross-functional team projects with responsibility for results
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask priorities and projects
  • Ability to encourage innovation, collaboration, and team efficiency
  • Ability to create and deliver training material on lean topics and site initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the progress of improvement efforts and integrate prior initiatives
  • Train new and existing employees on lean tools and onsite programs
  • Coach and develop leaders to adopt lean concepts and techniques
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to improve current processes and communicate results
  • Monitor key performance indicators, perform root cause analysis, and implement action plans for continuous improvement
  • Process data, build presentations, and record results using Microsoft Office suite
  • Update and own process improvement projects in the PPI funnel for VSM area
  • Attend Daily Tier meetings with VSM teams and Gemba
  • Stay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology
