Product Developer, Helsinki (temporary)

We are currently seeking a product developer to fill a temporary position in Food proteins and special cheeses - team. The term begins in September 2024 and lasts until September 2025. Would you be a perfect fit to our group of ambitious individuals, setting off for the next great Valio innovation?
You will be a part of the innovative team that manages development process of plant and dairy based meat alternatives to meet desired customer expectations. Your focus will be the development of new dairy- and plant-based protein products, therefore expertise in dairy, cereal, legume and meat technologies as well as previous experience in product development related tasks are highly appreciated. You will work closely with the whole Mifu and Gold&Green team to strategize and execute product plans within agreed time schedule. Our project teams consist of specialists from R&D, Business Unit, Production, Contract Manufacturing Team and Procurement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MSc or appropriate degree in a relevant science area (dairy/meat/grain science and technology, food science)
• Experience in product development
• Experience in dairy/meat/meat alternative technologies and manufacturing
• Eagerness for working in teams in different projects
• Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset
• Adaptability, creativity and collaboration
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English
