We are a privately held company headquartered in Culver City, CA looking for passionate individuals to join our growing, vibrant team!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Development Coordinator to assist in the development and production of our diverse range of products. This role will involve coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth and timely execution of product development projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in product development, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the Home, Gift & Stationery industry is a plus.
  • Passion for design and trends.
    COMPENSATION: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the product development process from concept to production.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Assist in sourcing new materials, components, and suppliers for product development.
  • Organize and file documents critical for production, such as pricing estimates, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor/supplier contracts.
  • Oversee sample development and product testing, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product specifications, timelines, and costs.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product development.
  • Support the product development team with administrative tasks, such as creating purchase orders and managing documentation.
  • Create quality assurance checkpoints and alerts throughout the production timeline and report quality concerns to management.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and product samples for internal and external meetings.
