Description:

ABOUT US

Odevo is a group of exciting brands with a shared vision of challenging the status quo in the property management industry. We’re committed to revolutionizing the industry with innovative software solutions that make managing properties easier, more efficient, and more effective. Our cloud-based platform is unique, and we have proven ourselves as a leading and innovative player in a brief time. Our global product development department acts as a SaaS supplier to all the companies in the Odevo group and several other players in the industry. Together, we will continue to challenge and change this industry. To continue our ambitious growth journey, we seek more great people to join us to build market-leading property management software products. Are you one of them?

EXPERIENCE

  • At least five years of experience shaping complex product strategies and roadmaps to deliver solutions that effectively meet business objectives.
  • Background as a Product owner, Product manager or business analyst
  • Experience directly managing relationships with multiple external vendors.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This isn’t a straightforward product role. Yes, you will be thinking about user requirements, business problems and how to solve them with technology, but the difference is you’ll also be working out how to improve the business with other people’s technology too.
You’ll be managing a portfolio of third party and in-house applications, so you’ll need to understand what we can build, and what we might be better off leveraging from elsewhere, and how those two approaches will work together. You’ll be doing this in a very complex domain, where there are multiple levels of end user: inside our business, our partner’s business, our clients’ businesses, and our client’s customers.
There’s wildly differing levels of technical sophistication, from the application and development of GPT-4 (and –5) solutions, to places where API integration has never been seen.
In this role, you’ll analyze and optimize our diverse software portfolio across our multiple UK companies, which currently includes Rendall & Rittner, TPG, Premier Estates, and Vegner Group, but is likely to grow as more companies join the Odevo group.
You will be gaining a comprehensive and analytical view of our complex domain and the various software solutions, to advise on strategic decisions and effectively guide implementation efforts that deliver maximum value to both our business and customers.
As the product lead for our software integrations, you will build deep and collaborative relationships internally with our own development teams building original products, as well as externally with vendor partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shape technology strategy and drive digital transformation in property management.
  • Analyze internal and external platforms to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage software relationships, engaging vendors for strategic alignment as well as short to mid term roadmap alignment to drive max Odevo value from the partnership.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategic software partners based on domain expertise.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to guide implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Contributing to the definition of the product vision and strategy within your product line, fostering a forward-looking approach.
  • Engaging with both internal and external customers to capture their requirements and insights for enhancing our product capabilities.
  • Define product release plans and communicate delivery progress/milestones to stakeholders and customers.
  • Measure performance of launched product capabilities and constantly evaluate opportunities for improving customer value and experience.
  • Working as an integral part of a scaled “team of teams” delivering common goals in a quarterly iteration rhythm.
  • Occasionally take on Product Owner responsibilities (e.g. managing backlog, running sprints), especially for “minor products” owned in-house.
