Job Title Description: Production Manager
Division: Taylor Farms Northwest/Kent, WA

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for meeting daily, weekly, monthly production deadlines and filling daily orders to specification. Also responsible for scheduling, staffing, maintaining all Production equipment, quality assurance and assist w/ inventory. They are also responsible for the coordination of all production activities with the Production staff, by determining which processes or projects are needed to efficiently meet production deadlines. The Production Manager will complete status reports on production progress, calculating figures for labor and materials amounts, manufacturing costs and wages. They will confer with established vendors and customers to coordinate processing and shipping, and/or to resolve customer complaints.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position is in a food production environment in a refrigerated, noisy environment. This is a combination of physical and sedentary role due to duties managed on the floor and from an office.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read write and speak English fluently
  • At least 5 years of Production and Processing Management experience
  • 4-year Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing Development Degree (or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment 35-39 degrees up to 50% of the time.
  • Intermediate word and excel skills for correspondence and reporting duties
  • Ability to manage diverse groups of people
  • Excellent organizational skill

  • Communicate and cooperate with the USDA inspector as needed
