A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Degree equivalency


EXP 1: Experience in drafting documents (such as reports, memos, training material or summaries) using information from multiple sources.
EXP 2: Experience in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
EXP 3: Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships or partnerships with stakeholders.

EXP 4: Experience in providing guidance on complex* issues to clients and/or stakeholders.

  • Complex is defined as an issue requiring information gathered from a variety of sources.


A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Degree equivalency


AEXP 1: Experience working in a field related to program or service delivery, or project management, or policy development.
AEXP 2: Experience working in a grants and contributions environment (e.g. assessing project proposals, recommending projects, overseeing or managing projects).
AEXP 3: Experience working in a client service delivery field.
AEXP 4: Experience in managing a project, program or service, including ensuring standards and expectations are met, identifying best practices and gaps, recommending improvements and/or ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
AEXP 5: Experience in recommending or participating in the development of partnerships with various stakeholders in order to achieve common objectives.
AEXP 6: Experience in the development and the delivery of training.
AEXP 7: Experience negotiating or managing service contracts or projects.
AEXP8: Experience in performing financial monitoring of projects.
AEXP9: Experience in developing operational tools or work procedures or documents such as guides, toolkits or templates.


CA1: Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
CA2: Ability to communicate effectively orally.
CA3: Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skilled questioning to draw out the information needed.
