Description:

Zoetis is embarking on a major capital project to transition ownership and develop the existing manufacturing site located at 45 Poplar Road Parkville in Melbourne, Australia.
Zoetis requires a Program manager with proven experiences to manage the site purchase closure, coordinate the transition of site operations to Zoetis and is responsible for the execution of the Site Master plan. This is a temporary position for 2 years.
The Project Manager shall lead a team of engineering consultants, construction managers and SMEs to ensure the quality and timely completion of projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, oversee and manage all aspects of the Melbourne Master Plan including Design, Construction, Commissioning, Validation and Operational Readiness on behalf of the Project Sponsor;
  • Manage & complete all actions relating to the site purchase closure
  • Organise and summarise project deliverables for review by GMS Execs and subsequent reporting to the Victorian State government
  • Provide organizational structure, contracting strategy and resource management to ensure all aspects of the project have the appropriate resources to deliver a successful project execution
  • Oversee the schedule management organizational assets to maintain an integrated schedule to ensure that the project milestones are achieved:
  • Detailed design complete by Q4 2024
  • Organize and build a project delivery team for successful project delivery in all phases.
  • Develop cost estimates and prepare capex funding requests for all project phase including Concept, Preliminary and Detailed Design.
  • Deliver a facility design to meet TGA and EU requirements for a Biotech Drug Substance Facility
  • Provide a cost control and cost processing structure to deliver the Melbourne Master Plan
  • Oversee and manage the project scope to ensure a “right-sized” facility, fit for purpose, schedule and schedule timeframe
  • Manage the project reporting structure at all levels and provide senior management monthly updates
  • Provide risk and safety management to prevent forces impacting successful project implementation; oversee the project risk register, Hazop review
  • Develop and oversee the project automation strategy
  • Design and implement a commissioning and validation plan that will allow regulatory approval and licensure
  • Escalate issues to management and/or appropriate leadership as appropriate
  • Oversee interactions with government official for planning and permit approvals
  • Conduct compliance reviews to insure compliance with internal Zoetis policies
