Education: Registration with the College of ECE (RECE) or OCT, or CYW Diploma or Degree
Hourly Wage: $21.09 plus hourly Provincial Wage Enhancement if applicable Compensation rates are increased for RECE candidates

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, warm and caring environment in which a high-quality extended day program can operate
• Ensuring that the supervision and safety of the children is maintained at all times
• Working cooperatively with all staff to help plan, develop, and implement a program of stimulating age appropriate activities for groups of children, which will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH?) and the guidelines established by PLASP for all program components including P.A. Days
• Supporting in the daily preparation of nutritious breakfast and snacks within the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide
• Participating in monthly staff meetings for the purpose of program planning and problem solving
