Description:

As the Programme Manager Integrations, you will focus on the re-shaping and redesigning of the point of sale and digital integration elements into the core Primark systems, covering Product, Price, Inventory, Sales feeds, and Sales audit.
You will be at the technical centre of implementing a new POS system which is supporting a large store expansion programme. This post will have a team of project managers reporting to them on each of the sub-initiatives

Responsibilities:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide leadership/guidance to cross-functional teams involved in programme delivery; motivate team members towards achieving project goals while building a collaborative work environment. Develop and promote effective communication channels across teams/departments involved in the major projects within the portfolio.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and sustain a strategic framework for significant technology initiatives, aligning with the company’s long-term goals while creating and preserving a detailed plan for the program. This includes clarifying the scope, expected outcomes, schedules, and resource needs.
  • Programme Oversight / Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of major technology programmes, from initiation through execution to closure, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. This could be at a portfolio level with multiple accountable delivery teams, or at a programme management level for major complex programmes.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and coordinate resources, including project managers, technical teams, and budgets, to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Risk Management: Proactively, identify potential risks and issues associated with technology programmes and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Monitor and track dependencies, ensuring effective coordination between projects to minimise risks and optimise outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to provide regular updates on programme status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that programmes adhere to best practices and quality standards in technology development and implementation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in technology and programme management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive experience in technology programme management, with a proven history of effectively delivering complex projects.
  • Expert leader and trusted advisor with extensive experience in developing senior business relationships
  • Advanced leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving project goals while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality results within defined timelines/budgets.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver best-in-class solutions in the face of changing business requirements and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Genuine interest in the fashion industry and an enthusiasm for the Primark Brand.
