About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our Aircraft Sustainment & Training line of business based at Pearce WA, reporting to the Workplace Services Manager.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as hybrid working.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project to ensure efficient daily operations are maintained. The Project Administrator facilitates communication and collaboration between various departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, including meeting logistics, catering, minute taking, recording actions and maintaining meeting agendas
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, visit requirements and transport
  • Organise and support business events, provide customer service, escort and supervise visitors within secured areas
  • Raise purchase orders, process payment of invoices and reconcile credit card expenses in line with company policy
  • Collate data and contribute to the development of reports, bids, contracts, manuals, presentations and correspondence
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of manager and team leads
  • Contribute to appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance the efficiency of processes and presentation of content
  • Assist with the on-boarding and induction of new staff members and manage office supplies, consumables and stationery
  • High level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective stakeholder management and ability to implement business requirements with others
  • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
  • Good organisation skill coupled with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Flexible to changing environment with an ability to use sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
