Architecture49 (A49) is seeking a Project Architect to join our team in Western Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered architect in British Columbia, or the ability to be registered.
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles and workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the production of architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
- Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating engineering consultants on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the drawings to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff.
- Guide contract administration including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting field visits, and working with construction contractors.
- Coordinate with management to address the financial aspects of a project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing to achieve desired results.
