Description:
We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our team in Reno, Nevada. This role is within the service industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The Project Assistant will be responsible for a range of duties including managing customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining customer records.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing incoming calls to appropriate personnel without disclosing client information.
- Providing administrative support to the department or office location.
- Assisting in managing mail/courier/delivery services, phone services, and meeting room arrangements.
- Greeting and announcing clients, applicants, and visitors while following company guidelines and local security procedures.
- Managing visitor passes and parking permits after validating identity, when applicable.
- Maintaining records and logs of service requests and tracking their status.
- Collaborating with Facilities to go through work orders.
- Organizing files and performing data entry tasks efficiently.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to perform duties.
- Assisting in light receptionist coverage and mail room duties as needed.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in Customer Service is required
- Skilled in Data Entry
- Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines
- Experience in organizing files and documentation
- Familiarity with scanning and shipping functions
- High level of organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and challenges.
